Dot Ferguson of The Highland Council has kindly sent us an update from Spean Bridge - 'I was pleased to see that after four days of heavy rain there was no sign of the central area having any standing water which is good. The coping stones and bridge are expected this week. Flagstone area now safety-fenced and stones power-washed prior to repointing etc. There has also been a new tribute placed, which I have left in situ.’
